1/2 cup butter (1 stick), melted and cooled
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups chopped peeled apples

for glaze
1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar

1.) Preheat oven 350 degrees.
2.) Mix together brown sugar, butter, maple syrup, and vanilla in large bowl. Add eggs.
3.) Mix together flour, salt, and baking soda in separate medium bowl.
4.) Combine flour mixture with sugar mixture; it will be thick.
5.) Peel and chop apples. Stir into batter.
6.) Line 9×13 baking pan with foil and spray with cooking oil.
7.) Spread batter into pan and bake for about 25 minutes, until top is golden.
