Glazed Cinnamon Scones

for scones
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 egg, with yolk separated from egg white
3 tablespoons honey
1/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons sugar mixed with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

for glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1.) Preheat oven 400 degrees.
2.) Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3.) Cut in butter to flour mixture until crumbly.
4.) Whisk together egg yolk, honey, and milk in separate bowl. Save egg white.
5.) Fold wet mixture into flour mixture until dough forms.
6.) Roll out dough to about 8 inches in diameter. Slice into 8 pieces and place on cookie sheet.
7.) Whisk together egg white until fluffy and brush the tops of the scones.
8.) Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture over scones.
9.) Bake for 10 minutes.
10.) For glaze: combine sugar, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon and brush over slightly cooled scones.
